We support policies that reinforce physicians’ positions as leaders in healthcare to ensure that physicians receive prompt and fair reimbursement for their services.     We offer free online CME, including the state-mandated* courses for Florida allopathic licensure.

    Reimbursement and Coding Issues

    Ovierview - R_CWe are available to provide you and your staff with practice management information regarding reimbursement issues and coding assistance. We stand ready to intervene on your behalf when a claim is delayed or denied by Medicaid, Medicare, insurance companies, and managed care organizations.     Physician Leadership Academy

    Overview - Physicians Leadership Advoc.Working in conjunction with the Leadership Development Institute at the University of Florida, the FMA Foundation has developed a customized, 10-month emerging leader program designed specifically to train physicians on the fundamentals of leadership in an ever-changing medical environment. The purpose of this in-depth program is to enable physicians to enhance their leadership skills and provide physician members with training in core aptitudes to excel within the business world, organized medicine, medical staffs, group practices, and in the public policy arena.
