Webinar Series: Primary Care Ophthalmology (CME)

Webinar Series: Primary Care Ophthalmology (CME)
Webinar Series Graphic

Primary care providers are often the first point of contact for patients with eye health concerns, making their role essential in promoting overall vision health. A strong foundation in primary care ophthalmology enables providers to 1. perform basic eye exams in their practice, 2. recognize acute and emergency eye issues that require specialist referrals, and 3. recommend appropriate treatments, including ophthalmic prescriptions and over-the-counter options.

This session is designed to provide primary care professionals with practical knowledge and skills to address common challenges in eye care. Our discussion will cover effective strategies for early detection, diagnosis, and management of eye conditions, as well as guidance on when to refer patients to specialists. By the end of this session, you’ll be better prepared to enhance vision health and provide comprehensive care to your patients.

Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions using the questions pane for the Q&A session at the end of the webinar.
