The Culture of Safety webinar will feature the Patient Safety Risk Manager of The Doctors Company to learn and ask questions on regulations and best practices related to telehealth.

The Dos and Don'ts of Telehealth webinar will feature Patient Safety Risk Manager, Sue Boisvert, of The Doctors Company, who will discuss the following points as they relate to telehealth:

  • Current status of Florida Telehealth regulation
  • Telehealth patient journey review including best practice tips
  • Mitigation strategies for known and emerging telehealth risks
Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions for the Q&A session at the end of the webinar.

Where: This course will be presented in a virtual livestream participatory webinar format conducted by the Florida Medical Association from Tallahassee, FL.

Cost: Registration is complimentary for ALL participants

CME Credit

The FMA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The FMA designates this live activity for a maximum of one (1.0) AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

How Does The Event Process Work?

Access Event/Webinar Links in your FMA Account Profile on the CME Access/Claim Credit tab (screenshot below):


Event Access:

  1. Event reminder emails, which will include a JOIN WEBINAR link, will be sent one week, one day, and one hour before the event begins.
  2. Use event access link in your Access/Claim Credit tab or the JOIN WEBINAR button in the confirmation/reminder emails to access the webinar.
  3. Slides and/or supporting documents will be in the handouts section of the webinar, if available.

Post-Event:

  1. Log in to your FMA account profile and click the CME Access/Claim Credit tab in the blue menu (example shown above)
  2. Access to the recorded session will be available within 24 hours of the event conclusion.
  3. 2023 FMA Members Only: Access to the recording will remain open until March 26.

Claiming CME Credit:

  1. Log in to your FMA account profile and click the CME Access/Claim Credit tab in the blue menu (example shown above)
  2. Click the event's Claim CME Credit hyperlink
  3. All CME credits will be reported on your behalf to CE Broker by March 28, after the March 26 deadline.
  4. CME Certificates will be mailed by March 31.
