Get involved in organized medicine
The Florida Medical Association Resident and Fellow Section (RFS) represents residents and fellows practicing in a Florida residency program.
RFS members participate in FMA Annual Meetings, Board of Governors meetings, FMA Councils and Committees, the Legislative Visitation Program, and the FMA Poster Symposium. They play a vital role in organized medicine by proposing resolutions to the FMA Board of Governors, meeting pro-medicine legislators in Tallahassee to talk about medical education in Florida, and they help to shape the future of organized medicine.
The Resident and Fellow Section Governing Council provides for and solicits resident and fellow involvement in the affairs of the county medical societies, the Florida Medical Association, and the American Medical Association through non-partisan collaboration across the state.
