State election update: Candidate qualifying ends June 14 at noon

FMA Staff Report

What’s happening
Monday, June 10, marked the beginning of Florida’s week-long qualifying process for candidates who are running for election to the state House of Representatives or the Senate. All candidates must qualify by Friday, June 14, at noon (local time). Click here to see those who have qualified to run.

Why it matters
Once the qualifying deadline passes, your FMA PAC will have a clear picture of the candidates running for open seats and those who are challenging medicine’s incumbent allies. That’s just in time for the FMA PAC Board meeting June 28-29 at the Westin Tampa Waterside, where Board members will discuss the upcoming elections and begin making endorsements.

How to help medicine win
Joining the FMA PAC gives you the opportunity to attend the Board meeting for a firsthand look at how the PAC works for all Florida physicians by helping pro-medicine candidates get elected.
