Clinical Case Poster

 

Title:

  • Should be engaging, specific, and descriptive (brief as possible).
  • Avoid abbreviations in the title.


    Authors and Affiliations:
  • List all authors, with the most involved listed first.
  • Include affiliations and institutional logos if applicable.


Abstract:

  • Limit word count to 500 words, excluding references and acknowledgments.
  • Should include sections such as objectives, introduction/background, case description, discussion, and outcomes/conclusion.


Case Description:

  • Provide a concise account of significant history, physical exams, lab results, and clinical course.
  • Avoid unnecessary details; focus on relevance to the case's key message.


Discussion:

  • Highlight differential diagnoses, work-up process, and unique aspects of the case.
  • Include conclusions and take-home points to emphasize learning objectives.

  • Use a consistent citation format (e.g., AMA or Chicago).
