Continuing Medical Education (CME)
FMA members receive the Florida state-mandated CME courses for free or member discounted, along with access to more than 60 free and discounted online CME courses available 24/7. The live state-mandated CME courses offered at the FMA Annual Meeting are also free for members. Other CME tracks are offered at a discounted rate for members. Any FMA course that you take will be reported for you to CE Broker, the Florida Department of Health’s official continuing education tracking system.

- Coding assistance: Our coding experts are available to help you or your office staff with any issues you have regarding coding.
- Payment specialists: The FMA has saved members hundreds of thousands of dollars by intervening when claims are denied by Medicare, Medicaid, insurance companies or managed care organizations.
Legislative Advocacy
As the voice of medicine in Florida, the FMA is behind every pro-medicine bill that becomes state law, and our legislative advocacy team also works to defeat bills that would harm patients and undermine your authority as leader of the medical care delivery team. We place high priority on protecting the patient-physician relationship, removing unnecessary administrative burdens and obstacles to practicing medicine, and ensuring that physicians are paid fairly and promptly for providing care.

The FMA’s Education Department has answers to all of your questions related to maintaining licensure and CME requirements.
