Chris Clark has been the FMA’s Chief Executive Officer since April 2022, and he previously served as the association’s Senior Vice President of Public Affairs. Before joining the FMA staff in 2014, Chris served as Chief of Staff for Florida Senate President Don Gaetz and was the highest-ranking staff person in the state Senate. He also worked on both of Gov. Jeb Bush’s successful gubernatorial campaigns and was Gov. Bush’s personal aide for three years.
Jeff Scott, Esq
General Counsel
Florida Medical Association
FMA General Counsel Jeff Scott, Esq., joined the organization in 1997 as Associate General Counsel, and he served as FMA Senior Director of Governmental Affairs and Vice President for Advocacy and Public Policy before taking on his current role. Jeff earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida State University College of Law and began his law career in private practice defending physicians in medical malpractice cases.
