Maureen O’Hara Padden, MD, MPH, FAAFP, is Regional Medical Director for Florida and South Carolina practices partnering with Aledade, an Accountable Care Organization (ACO), in the provision of value-based healthcare. Board-certified in family medicine and obesity medicine, Dr. Padden is also in part-time private practice. She earned her medical degree from Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Md., and completed her family medicine residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training. Dr. Padden achieved the rank of Captain during her long career in the United States Navy Medical Corps and retired from service in 2017. She is President of the Escambia County Medical Society and a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Padden also serves on the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Commission on Federal and State Policy.
