Webinar Series: Fatty Liver (CME)

Webinar Series: Fatty Liver (CME)
Webinar Series Graphic

Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) is the most common chronic liver condition in the United States. While most individuals with MASLD have a fatty liver without inflammation, about 20% develop non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), a more severe form that causes liver inflammation and can lead to significant liver damage. The exact causes of MASLD and why some individuals progress to Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH), remain unclear. Despite the availability of clinical guidance and published guidelines, the diagnosis and management of these conditions can still be elusive for healthcare providers.

This webinar will provide key clinical insights into MASLD and MASH, with a strong emphasis on guideline-based diagnosis and management strategies. Participants will learn to distinguish between alcohol-associated liver disease and MASLD, recognize the known risk factors for MASLD and MASH, and implement evidence-based approaches for the diagnosis and management of these conditions in clinical practice.

Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions using the questions pane for the Q&A session at the end of the webinar.
