Days at the Capitol
The FMA Days at the Capitol event is an opportunity for students, residents, and fellows to visit the state Capital and learn about the legislative process and how physician-led advocacy influences the practice of medicine.
While in Tallahassee, participants will hear from FMA staff, political strategists, and state legislators about the critical role organized medicine plays in your ability to protect your patients and your profession.
Learn about healthcare policy and the legislative process
Meet with State Senators and members of the House of Representatives
Attend Healthcare Committee Meetings
Observe sessions of the Florida House and Senate
All expenses paid
The 2025 application process is closed, and attendees will be in Tallahassee March 31 - April 1.
The application process for the 2026 Days at the Capitol will open in November of 2025.
